Tom
Cruise Joins Stiller For
Hardy
Boys
Tom
Cruise
and Ben Stiller are to
star in a grown-up
version of The Hardy
Boys, it has been
announced.
They
will play brothers Frank
and Joe Hardy, the teen
sleuths familiar to
millions of
readers.
In
the action comedy, The
Hardy Men, the pair are
adults who no longer
speak to each other
after a
fall-out.
But
they are forced to
overcome their sibling
rivalry and reunite to
solve one last mystery,
according to the
Hollywood
Reporter.
The
Hardy Boys book series
began in 1927 and was
written by a number of
ghost writers under the
pen name Franklin W
Dixon.
There
were 58 books and the
series ran until
1979.
The
film is due to start
filming next
year.
It
will be directed by
Shawn Levy, who recently
teamed up with Stiller
on hit movie Night At
The Museum.
