Debut
Noel
Edmonds
is among the new
celebrity names to be
included in the latest
edition of Who's
Who.
The
Deal or No Deal
presenter is listed
alongside the latest
Doctor Who actor David
Tennant, under his real
name David
McDonald.
Winner
of the 2003 Turner Prize
Grayson Perry also makes
a first
entrance.
The
compilation of 33,000
"noteworthy and
influential" people has
a first of its own by
including the other
halves of those in civil
partnerships.
Another
new entrant is Toby
Stephens, best known for
his role as the James
Bond bad guy Gustav
Graves in Die Another
Day and Mr Rochester in
a BBC version of Jane
Eyre.
Ewan
McGregor's uncle Denis
Lawson - who acted in
the original Star Wars
trilogy - has joined his
nephew in the 159th
edition of the
book.
Sanjeev
Bhaskar, from Goodness
Gracious Me and The
Kumars at No 42, lists
his pastimes as
"dreaming, chatting,
collecting and watching
movies, staying in,
anything relating to
Elvis Presley, Beatles,
film trivia and
gadgets".
Another
entrant with unusual
hobbies is Sebastian
Tombs, chief executive
of Architecture and
Design Scotland, who
admits a love for
"reverse cycling", while
actor Jonathan Moore's
pronounces an interest
in "underwater
knitting".
Those
making the list due to
their civil partners
include Sir Elton John's
partner David
Furnish.
