Kate Moss Joins Little Britain

Kate Moss has appeared in a stage version of TV comedy hit Little Britain in aid of Comic Relief.

The 32-year-old donned a blue tracksuit top and trainers for her brief appearance at the Hammersmith Apollo in west London.

Playing opposite Matt Lucas' character Vicky Pollard as her sister, Katie, she said: "The Pollard sisters in the house - west country."

The show is due to be broadcast in March 2007.

During the act, Vicky said: "I'm the pretty one."

Kate Moss' character, Katie added: "I'm the easy one."

Comedian Russell Brand also appeared in the show during a sketch that involved transvestite characters Emily, played by David Walliams, and Florence (Lucas).

The Radio 2 presenter played a plumber who stripped off his boiler suit to reveal a bra, suspenders and stockings.

On leaving the stage to "rob", Vicky yelled at the model to "lose some weight", calling her "fat".

The real Dennis Waterman appeared alongside his fictional, miniature counterpart of the same name.

He joined in to sing the theme tune to the television programme Minder - a long-standing joke which appears in the Little Britain TV series.

Actress Patsy Kensit, comedy star Dawn French, The X Factor presenter Kate Thornton and BBC Radio 1 DJ Chris Moyles also had cameo roles in the stage show.

Little Britain made its TV debut in 2003, after first airing on Radio 4 two years earlier. The programme soon became a cult hit amongst viewers.
