Kylie
Minogue Makes Stage
Return
Pop
star Kylie
Minogue
has made her first stage
appearance since being
diagnosed with breast
cancer last
year.
The
singer, 38, came on
stage at the end of a
gig by her younger
sister Dannii at GAY in
London's
Astoria.
"I
have a bone to pick with
you," she said, before
singing the chorus to
Dannii's hit single Jump
To The Beat - which she
had omitted from her
set.
Kylie
Minogue revealed that
she had cancer in May
2005 and underwent
surgery in Australia two
days later.
She
was forced to abandon
her Showgirl world tour
and an appearance at the
Glastonbury Festival
after her
diagnosis.
The
singer finished her
chemotherapy in December
2005, but still receives
treatment to prevent a
return of the
cancer.
Last
November her tour
promoter Michael
Gudinski announced
Minogue would perform in
Australia at the end of
2006.
Glastonbury
organiser Michael Eavis
has also suggested that
Minogue could headline
next year's
festival.
Breast
cancer is the primary
cause of cancer death
among Australian women,
and second only to lung
cancer in the US and
UK.
