Madonna Vows
Return To The Saddle
Pop star
Madonna has vowed a return to horseriding
as soon as she recovers from a fall that
left her with several broken
bones.
The
singer said she was "grateful and
overwhelmed by everyone's good wishes"
since the accident on Tuesday.
"As soon
as doctors give me the okay, I expect to
be right back on a horse and riding
again," the 47-year-old singer
said.
Madonna
fell in the grounds of her estate on the
Dorset/Wiltshire border.
The
horse was a birthday present given to her
that day by film director husband Guy
Ritchie.
The
singer, who is planning to release a new
album in November, is recovering from her
injuries at home at Ashcombe
House.
Madonna's
UK spokeswoman, Barbara Charone, said the
accident would not delay the new album's
release.
Her LP
is finished and is on course to come out
in November with a single prior," she
said.
The pop
star is also planning to go on tour next
summer.
Madonna
sustained three cracked ribs, a broken
collar bone and a fractured hand after
falling from her horse.
She was
treated in hospital in Salisbury,
Wiltshire.
The
musician's US spokeswoman Liz Rozenberg
said she had been riding for four or five
months and spent "a lot of time"
horse-riding while in the
country.
