Edward
Woodward (born June 1,
1930) is a British
actor.
He
is best known for his
role in the 1960s spy
series, Callan, and also
for his lead role in the
1980s American
television series The
Equalizer. He also had
minor success as a
singer, including
appearing and using his
voice to good effect as
a 'turn' in the BBC's
Victorian era music hall
programme, The Good Old
Days. He recorded
several LPs many of
which are now
collectors' items
available on eBay and
elsewhere.
